Float Choices

At Enchanted Floats, we want to offer you a variety of float options and choices. We will be offering three departure times each day of operation (Leaving at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m.). Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your departure time for check-in. We take an entire group out at the same time. You can choose from two different float options on White River depending on how long of a float you'd like to do. We offer shuttles to and from White River only. You can also choose to take a paddle board or kayak to Beaver Lake, Lake Leatherwood, or one of the other beautiful rivers in our area. Pricing is located on the reservation pages. We now offer two "Shuttle Only" choices for White River. If you have your own equipment, you can reserve a shuttle spot for either 10:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. departure times. We will take an entire group out at one time.

Beaver Dam to Bertrand Access

Best Times: April through October

This is a 3 mile float on White River that starts at the lower portion of the Beaver Dam and takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours to reach Bertrand Access. This is the prettiest part of White River (in our opinion). The bluffs are very pretty. White River is very wide through most of this area & most of the season, you will have a little current. This varies depending on if or when they allow more water out of the dam. When there is less current, you may have to paddle more. It's still a very easy float. This choice is long enough to enjoy the outdoors, nature, and the beauty of the river, but short enough that you will still have plenty of energy left at the end of your float to go on to enjoy another adventure afterwards.

Beaver Dam to Houseman Access

Best Times: April through October

This is a 7 mile float on White River that starts at the lower portion of the Beaver Dam and takes 4 1/2 to 5 hours to reach Houseman Access if you are moving at a consistent pace. On this float, you get to see the bluffs, as well, but you continue about 4 more miles. The last mile or so, the river is even wider and deeper, and the current seems to slow a bit.  Be sure to bring lunch or some good snacks for this float since it's longer and you will be getting a bit of a workout.

Beaver Lake & Lake Leatherwood

Best Times: May through September

Since Beaver Lake and Lake Leatherwood are lakes, the water is warmer than the rivers and both have many opportunities for swimming as well as enjoying beautiful views and photo ops. The "Best Times" listed for the lakes are a shorter time frame due to the seasonal temperature changes that might affect your ability to swim. These dates may vary from year to year depending on weather conditions.
