What is needed to rent our watercraft?

You will need a valid credit card and ID. One of these must be left at our office until you return our equipment to ensure it's returned before we close at 6:00 p.m. Also, a deposit hold will be placed on your card until the equipment is returned to us in the same condition as you received it. Rentals must be paid for in full at time of rental.

Pricing?

Prices can be found on the reservation pages since there are several options available.  Life jackets, paddles, and mesh bags for trash are, also, included in the rental fee.

Do you offer shuttle services & what does that cost?

We offer shuttle services to & from White River only and only to our customers. We drop off at the lower portion of Beaver Dam & pick up at your choice of either Bertrand Access (3 mile float) or Houseman Access (7 mile float). 

What requirements are there for me to transport your watercraft myself?

You will either need a truck bed long enough to hold a kayak or racks on top of your vehicle that you can strap the kayaks down to. It's best if you've had some experience doing this. The ISUP (inflatable stand up paddle boards) roll up and easily fit inside a car or trunk. We only allow the kayaks or ISUPs to be picked up. No canoes go out this way.

What if I damage your watercraft or gear?

You are fully responsible for our watercraft and gear (life jackets, paddles, ISUP pumps) when you rent from Enchanted Floats. If you lose or damage our watercraft or gear, you are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing those items whether the loss or damage was your fault or not. When you rent from us, a deposit hold is placed on your card until our items are returned. If you lose or damage our items, you have given Enchanted Floats permission to charge your card for those damages or losses.

What is your cancellation policy? What about refunds?

If you have a change of plans and need to cancel or reschedule, we need a 7-day notice to issue you a gift certificate or reschedule you. The gift certificate is good for two years and can be used to reschedule when availability allows. All our floats are by reservation only and if you cancel, we need time to rebook that opening. 

What is your weather cancellation policy?

Trips are made rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, if we cancel taking people out (which is very rare) you will be notified by text or email as soon as that determination is made & you will receive a gift certificate that allows you to reschedule as availability allows.

What do I need to bring on the float?

Drinks/Water (no glass containers-it's the law)

Cooler (no styrofoam coolers allowed-it's the law too)

Lunch/Snacks
